Walk & Talks
In partnership with community we create a safe welcoming environment for community members to check in with each-other about the daily stress we each have. At the events we also spend time talking about issues that impact our community while building our health by walking. These events have been open to everyone who wants to join!
BUILD Interactive Workshops
We host interactive workshops for adults and youth of color in the greater Seattle area. Students learn and engage in discussions topics such as: race, culture, leadership and self-empowerment etc. We share resources and stories about our personal experiences working, participating in different profession and navigation systems.
BUILD Barbershop Series
We host and facilitate discussions at local barber shops that serve the Black community in the greater Seattle. Each discussion includes community members with personal experience in navigating systems/issues that impact Black men. It is an opportunity for community to share, listen and learn from the experiences of others.
