BUILD hosted and facilitated four community discussions at local Black owned barber shops and businesses that serve the Black community in the greater Seattle area as part of the 2019 BUILD Barbershop Series. Each discussion included community members with personal experience in navigating systems/issues that impact Black men. The meetings created an opportunity for community to share, listen and learn from the experiences of others.
